We want our refund process to be fair while protecting Noah from misuse of paid digital services.
Except where required by applicable law or expressly approved by Noah, subscription payments and other purchases are final and non-refundable once paid access or purchased services have been provided.
Submitting a refund request does not guarantee approval.
1. How Refund Requests Are Evaluated
Where permitted, Noah may consider relevant information including:
- purchase and transaction details;
- subscription and plan type;
- trial start and end dates;
- charge and renewal dates;
- cancellation or attempted-cancellation timing;
- paid-feature usage after the relevant charge;
- voice-call and Premium AI usage;
- account activity and active days;
- whether the purchased service was successfully delivered;
- technical records;
- evidence provided by the customer;
- previous refund requests or refunds;
- previous support communication;
- the circumstances described in the request;
- this Refund Policy; and
- applicable legal requirements.
No single factor guarantees approval.
2. Free Trials
Noah may offer a free trial that automatically converts into a paid subscription unless cancelled before the disclosed trial deadline.
The trial length, subscription price, billing period and automatic conversion are presented when the subscription is started.
Forgetting to cancel a free trial before it converts to a paid subscription does not, by itself, qualify the resulting payment for a refund.
Deleting Noah, not using Noah, forgetting about the trial, or deciding after the trial ends that you no longer want the subscription does not automatically make the charge refundable.
Noah may make a one-time discretionary exception where:
- the request is submitted very shortly after the first paid charge;
- there has been little or no paid-service usage after the charge;
- the customer has not previously received a similar courtesy refund; and
- there are no other circumstances indicating repeated refund misuse.
Use of Noah during the free trial itself is not considered improper use.
3. Renewal Payments
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the applicable renewal deadline disclosed at purchase.
Renewal payments are generally non-refundable.
Forgetting to cancel, failing to notice the renewal date, deleting the app, or not using the remaining subscription period does not create an automatic right to a refund.
Noah may, at its sole discretion where permitted by law, review a renewal payment where:
- the request is received within 48 hours of the renewal; and
- there has been little or no Premium usage following the renewal.
Requests submitted more than 48 hours after renewal will normally not qualify for a discretionary refund.
Meaningful use of Noah after renewal will normally make the payment ineligible for a discretionary refund.
4. Usage of Paid Services
Noah provides digital services that may involve significant AI and voice-processing costs.
Where a refund is discretionary, Noah may take into account the amount of paid service consumed after the payment being disputed.
This may include:
- voice-call minutes;
- Premium AI usage;
- Premium sessions;
- paid features accessed;
- active days;
- consumable purchases used; and
- other relevant paid-service activity.
Customers who materially use or consume paid services after a charge and subsequently request a refund will normally not qualify for a full discretionary refund.
Depending on the circumstances and where technically and legally supported, Noah may:
- decline the refund;
- provide a partial refund;
- provide another appropriate remedy; or
- resolve the underlying issue instead.
Noah does not publish fixed usage thresholds, and no particular amount of usage guarantees approval or rejection.
5. Partial Refunds
Where permitted and supported by the applicable payment platform, Noah may issue a partial refund instead of a full refund where part of the purchased service has already been provided or materially consumed.
Any partial refund is determined case-by-case.
A customer is not automatically entitled to reimbursement for the unused portion of a subscription simply because they stop using the service.
6. Duplicate, Incorrect or Invalid Charges
Noah will investigate claims involving:
- duplicate charges;
- incorrect amounts;
- payments collected despite a valid cancellation that should have prevented the charge;
- payment being taken without the purchased service being provided; or
- another verified billing error.
Customers must provide sufficient purchase information, such as the relevant receipt, transaction ID, or Google Play GPA Order ID.
Where Noah confirms a billing error for which it is responsible, Noah will provide an appropriate correction or refund.
7. Technical Issues
A technical problem does not automatically make a subscription refundable.
Before approving a refund, Noah may attempt to investigate and resolve the issue.
Customers may be asked to provide:
- a description of the problem;
- when it occurred;
- the affected feature;
- device and app information;
- relevant screenshots or screen recordings where reasonably available; and
- details of previous troubleshooting or Support communication.
If Noah confirms that a material technical failure prevented the customer from meaningfully receiving the paid service and the problem cannot reasonably be resolved, Noah may provide a full refund, partial refund, extension, credit, or another appropriate remedy.
Minor issues that do not materially prevent use of the purchased service will normally not qualify for a refund.
8. Privacy and Security Concerns
Using Noah is subject to Noah's Terms and applicable privacy notices presented to users.
A customer who later changes their mind about a privacy practice that was clearly disclosed before or during use does not automatically become eligible for a refund solely because they now disagree with that disclosed practice.
Customers who no longer wish Noah to retain eligible account information may exercise applicable privacy rights, including requesting account or data deletion where available.
Deleting an account or requesting deletion of personal information does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund for services already purchased or provided.
However, acceptance of Noah's Terms or privacy notices does not waive privacy rights that cannot legally be waived.
If a customer alleges:
- unauthorized disclosure;
- unauthorized account access;
- a security incident;
- processing materially inconsistent with Noah's disclosed practices; or
- another genuine privacy or security violation,
Noah will investigate the complaint separately.
The appropriate remedy, including whether a refund is appropriate, will depend on the facts and applicable law.
9. Change of Mind and Personal Circumstances
Unless required by law, Noah will normally not provide refunds solely because:
- the customer changed their mind;
- they forgot to cancel;
- they forgot about the subscription;
- they did not use Noah as much as expected;
- they no longer need Noah;
- they found another service;
- they deleted the app;
- they misunderstood something that was clearly disclosed at purchase;
- they no longer wish to share information under practices already disclosed;
- or the subscription is no longer affordable.
Customers experiencing genuine financial difficulty may contact Noah Support to ask whether another option is available, but financial difficulty does not itself guarantee a refund.
10. Extra Voice Minutes and Consumable Purchases
Consumable purchases, including additional voice minutes, are generally non-refundable once materially used.
If a consumable purchase remains entirely or substantially unused and the request is made promptly, Noah may consider a discretionary refund.
If a refund is issued, any unused balance associated with the refunded purchase may be removed immediately.
No refund will normally be provided for portions that have already been consumed.
11. Repeated Refund Requests and Misuse
Noah may decline discretionary refunds where account, transaction, or usage history reasonably indicates repeated misuse of the refund process.
Relevant circumstances may include:
- repeated subscribe-use-refund patterns;
- repeatedly consuming substantial paid services before requesting refunds;
- obtaining multiple trials through multiple accounts in violation of applicable terms;
- repeatedly receiving courtesy refunds and then subscribing again;
- providing materially false or inconsistent information;
- or attempting to retain benefits associated with a refunded purchase.
A previous courtesy refund may make the customer ineligible for another courtesy refund.
This section does not limit remedies or refunds required by applicable law.
12. Apple App Store Purchases
Payments processed through Apple's App Store are subject to Apple's refund process and policies.
Noah cannot guarantee or override Apple's refund decision.
Customers must request an eligible App Store refund through Apple.
13. Google Play Purchases
Google Play purchases are subject to Google's refund rules.
Google currently states that some refund requests made within 48 hours may be considered by Google; after 48 hours, customers may be directed to the developer.
Where Noah processes an eligible Google Play refund, a GPA Order ID and other transaction information may be required.
14. Website or Direct Purchases
Refund requests for payments processed directly by Noah will be evaluated under this Policy.
Noah may provide a full refund, partial refund, alternative remedy, or decline the request depending on the circumstances.
15. Effect of a Refund
If a full refund is approved, Noah may immediately:
- revoke the refunded Premium entitlement;
- end access associated with the refunded subscription;
- remove unused consumable balances associated with the refunded transaction;
- cancel future renewal of the refunded subscription; and
- remove other benefits created by the refunded purchase.
A refund does not entitle the customer to continue consuming the refunded paid service.
16. Evidence and Accuracy
Noah may require reasonable evidence to investigate a refund request, including:
- purchase receipts;
- transaction IDs;
- cancellation confirmations;
- billing screenshots;
- technical screenshots or recordings; and
- relevant Support communication.
Customers must provide accurate information.
Materially false, inconsistent, incomplete, or unverifiable information may result in a discretionary refund being declined.
Customers should never send passwords, full payment-card details, unnecessary medical information, or unrelated private conversations.
17. Applicable Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Policy excludes, limits, or overrides consumer, privacy, withdrawal, refund, or other statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Where applicable law or the relevant payment platform provides greater rights than this Policy, those requirements will apply.
18. Final Decision
Except where a refund is required by law or controlled by Apple, Google, or another payment provider, Noah will determine discretionary refund eligibility after reviewing the relevant transaction, usage, evidence, account history, and circumstances.
Submitting a refund request does not guarantee a full refund, partial refund, credit, or other remedy.
